Brian Cohen Consulting is a Tampa based business that helps multi family developers understand the feasibility of a prospective apartment unit his client is looking to purchase. Brian has a special set of tools he uses to determine profitability, feasibility, and market rent among other things. As Brian's tag line suggests: It's all in the numbers.
Situation:
Brian came to me looking for a website design that will help him stand out in a crowd. He did not want his design to look like it came from a cheap template but rather a professional custom layout.
Brian already had a nicely designed, dynamic logo, and color scheme that I was to incorporate into the page layout. Brian wanted 2 pages designed. The first was a landing page that would spell out the advantages of working with Brian and the second was a contact page with a form to send feedback and request an email with a video of his process.
Solution:
I started Brian's design with the landing page. After a few iterations, we chose one that would work well for flow of information, design, and would have enough well placed text and headers to do well with natural ranking for search engines.
I came up with the idea to add in a picture carousel to the landing page that would showcase 3 vector based images in the upper right hand side of the page. Movement on a page is a nice addition and really catches your attention.
Then we moved on to the design of the contact page and form. Working with forms is tricky as it is never easy to make a bland form look stylish. I think this design will work well in form and function.
Result:
This project has just been completed and work is being done on the coding and mark-up of the site. I will keep you updated on the progress and let you know when the site goes live so you can check it out.
